The first window you will see in the Finder is "All My Files". This is a special window that shows you all of the documents you have access to on your Mac.
Practice
Use the View menu to change the views of the current Finder window. (icon, list, column, cover flow)
Practice arranging items: You can arrange items in a folder from the View menu as well.
