ASA EC & KG

SSIS offers a wide variety of after school activities (ASAs) for students from Early Childhood & Kindergarten. There are three ASA SEASONS throughout the year, which run from 3:10 to 4:00.

Season 1: August 26 - November 8 | Season 2: November 25 - February 28  | Season 3: March 16 - May 29

EC-K ASA Ballet Kids (Mon) Mon PK, PR, KG MS Dance 2,250,000 Ballet will help kids feel more confident, become familiar to music perception, learning to observe from the dance movements of the teacher, easy to remember, learning through play for children interested in the subject
EC-K  ASA Multi-Sport Skill  (Mon) Mon PK, PR, KG MS Field 1,800,000 Children will develop their flexibility, physical agility, strength and coordination various sport.
EC-K  ASA Mixed Art (Tue) Tue KG, PK, PR B209 2,000,000 There is nothing as special as a handmade Art. Let’s create special art moment. Come and have fun with all mixed art for kids!
EC-K  ASA Magic Clay Art (Tue) Tue KG, PK, PR Cafeteria 1,760,000 Explore your artistic talents by designing and making safe clay toys. Each student will develop their sences and imagination as ways to express a specific theme, subject or story
EC-K  ASA Learn to Swim  (Tue) Tue PR, PK, KG Pool 800,000 KG Students Learn to Swim Program. This is a pilot program based on the American Red Cross Learn.
Parents/Caregiver must join their child and have them fully prepared to swim with the instructor.  The Parent/Caregiver must also remain at the pool for the entire 25-minute lesson and prepare their child to return home after the lesson is completed.
EC-K  ASA Mixed Dance (Wed) Wed PK, PR, KG HS Dance 1,980,000 The regular dance practice can increase child’s flexibility, range of motion and physical strength. The repetitive movements involved in dance can improve muscle tone, correct posture, increase balance and coordination and improve overall cardiovascular health. In this class we use current and very cool songs appropriate for the age of the children.
EC-K  ASA Music Instruments Game (Wed) Wed PK, PR, KG MS Dance 2,250,000 Music games are a great way to help kids overcome their shyness and to socialize with other children, and games can help a child develop physically, improve their coordination skills and develop a sense of timing.
EC-K  ASA Multi-Sport Skill  (Wed) Wed KG, PR, PK MS Field 1,800,000 Children will develop their flexibility, physical agility, strength and coordination various sport.
EC-K  ASA Learn to Swim  (Wed) Wed PR, PK, KG Pool 900,000 KG Students Learn to Swim Program. This is a pilot program based on the American Red Cross Learn.

EC-K  ASA  Robotics Kids (Thu) Thu PR, KG B113 2,200,000 The course will provide mathematical integration between physical laws and the simple calculations to support them. The laws and mathematics are both illustrated through the construction of our exciting Logo models that let them see the science come to life!
EC-K  ASA Explore the Kids World (Thu) Thu KG, PR Cafeteria A-2 2,200,000 Children play joyfully in various interacting games using multi art media and enjoy being in nature
EC-K  ASA Learn to Swim  (Thu) Thu PR, PK, KG Pool 1,000,000 KG Students Learn to Swim Program. This is a pilot program based on the American Red Cross Learn.

Registration and Payment

Request day of selections : November 4 to November 5, 2019

Notification of selections will be sent by email on Wednesday, November 6. 

The selections will re-open on Thursday, November 7 at 8:00am if you did not receive the ASAs you wanted.  You will be able to re-submit your selections at this time by logging back into SchoolsBuddy.  This will be on a first come first served basis.

All registration will be closed on Friday, November 8 at 3:00pm.

Payment deadline  4:00 PM Friday 15 November, 2019.

ASA Payments are non-refundable.

 

Pick Up

EC and Kindergarten students are not permitted to take the after-school-activities bus. Children must be picked up by the parent or caregiver at the location of each activity.
